Variety of Biological Problems in Life

Biology Read - Various problems in the field of biology can occur at all levels of the organization of life, ranging from the molecular level to the level of the biosphere. The problems that arise at a level of organizational life can influence each other and relate to the level of other living organizations.

The various problems that occur will be studied and solved by applying various sciences from related branches of biology. Here are the biological issues at different levels of life organization.

• Biological problems at the molecular level, for example the occurrence of abnormalities in the formation of blood hemoglobin molecules that cause sickle cell anemia disease.

• Biological issues at the cellular level, such as the occurrence of breaking of red blood cells when infected with bacteria or viruses.

• Biological problems at the tissue level, such as osteoporosis which results in loss and bone mass so the bones become brittle and break easily.

• Biological problems at the organ level, such as abnormalities in the myopic eye organ (nearsightedness)

• Biological problems at the organ system level, for example breathing disorders due to airway narrowing in patients with asphyxia.

• Biological issues at the individual level, such as an AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome) sufferers of immune system disorders and make their white blood cells unable to live so easily affected by the disease.

• Biological issues at the population level, such as the spread of AIDS from one person to another in a population.

• Biological issues at the community level, such as the impact of wild birds on the conservation of other living things in a food chain.

• Biological issues at the ecosystem level, eg deforestation for tea plantations that threaten the habitat of wildlife in the forest.

• Biological issues at the biome level, such as the impact of tropical rainforest fires

• Biological issues at the biosphere level, such as the impact of depletion of the ozone layer in the atmosphere on living things on Earth.
